CHILTON, WI (WTAQ) - A woman is due back in court Thursday after she was accused of severely injuring her three-year-old son a number of times.
A Calumet County judge will decide if there’s enough evidence to put 26-year-old Kristin Hidde on trial for two counts of felony child abuse.
Prosecutors said Hidde caused injuries consistent with, “massive multiple blows or kicks to the genital and abdominal area.”
A doctor at Milwaukee Children’s Hospital said the amount of force that was used could have killed the child.
Hidde is also accused of abusing the toddler’s 6-year-old brother. A judge has turned down a request to reduce her bond from the current $10,000.
