GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Operators of high-voltage transmission lines in northeast Wisconsin are proposing two new lines that stem from new Green Bay substations.   It’s part of American Transmission Company’s Bay Lake Project that will feed to areas in the Michigan UP and Oconto Falls.  Two other lines are proposed between Menominee County and Escanaba, Michigan.  The Green Bay to Ishpeming, MI is a 345-kV line, the rest a 138-kV lines.  The proposed lines will have to go through a lengthy process for approval, with construction to begin in 2015.
