FITCHBURG, WI (WTAQ) - Reports of Wisconsin voters being asked for photo ID before they could cast a ballot will be investigated. Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board says those reports came from several voters in Fitchburg. That led to confusion at polling locations. Governor Walker had signed the voter ID bill into law last year, but the measure was struck down in court, twice. The law was not in effect for yesterday’s election, though it had been active for the February primary.
