HILLSDALE, Mich (WLMI)  In Hillsdale County—a guilty plea in the death of a three year old girl last June.  Yesterday—29-year old James Campbell pleaded guilty to a number of felony charges, including torture and domestic violence.  He was on trial for the June 10th death of (Beautiful) Skyla Villanueva, the daughter of his then-girlfriend—he admitted to biting the child dozens of times.  She was also found with a broken arm and multiple burns.  Campbell WAS facing murder and child abuse charges—those counts will be dismissed when he’s sentenced  next month.  Campbell STILL faces up to life in prison on the torture charge.
