WEST ALLIS, WI (WTAQ) - Saturday's anti-Nazi rally had been going on for about an hour when the stars of the show finally appeared.

Shortly after the scheduled 2 p.m. start time of the rally by the National Socialist Movement, members found themselves outnumbered by as much as 50 to one.

Police in riot gear were on the scene to keep the two sides apart.

The neo-Nazis carried American and Wisconsin flags, a Confederate battle flag and a flag carrying the banner, "white pride worldwide."

All businesses near the West Allis City Hall plaza were closed in anticipation of the showdown. There was one sign posted on Papa John's Pizza saying that business, "does not support hate."

Police reportedly arrested two people on weapons charges and three for disorderly conduct.
