GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - An Allouez cemetary worker has pled not guilty to stealing a guitar from a casket. 

40-year-old Steven Conard is charged with theft of movable property from a corpse. 

Authorities say Conard stole a $2,000 guitar from a man's crypt last month. He allegedly told police he, "doesn't do this normally...he just has respect for fine musical instruments." 

If convicted, Conard faces up to 5 years in prison.
