KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- It can be a challenge to get to know the candidates in this year’s Kalamazoo City Commission race. Voters will have to work at it.
The final forum was one of the biggest Wednesday night at the Fetzer Center and 16 candidates appeared, 13 that actually filed and will appear on the ballot, and three write-in candidates who jumped into the race in the last few weeks.
The size of the candidate pool meant they had only one minute to respond to questions, and often they would run out of time just as they were getting warmed up. Last night’s forum was taped and will be aired on Cable Access. The election is about two weeks away, on November 8th.
