MTV Movies has landed the first official trailer for Chronicle, a found-footage sci-fi thriller about three teens who manifest supernatural powers after an encounter with a mysterious object:

Chronicle is directed by Josh Trank, written by Max Landis (son of John), and stars Michael B. Jordan, Dane DeHaan, and Alex Russell. It arrives February 3, 2012.
