OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - A man who helped burn a woman's corpse and dispose of the ashes in Lake Winnebago has lost an appeal to modify his sentence. 

Donald Worth was convicted of mutiliating a corpse for his role in what happened to Renee Redmer.

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with six years initial confinement. 

Brandon Mueller is serving a life prison term for Redmer's death.
