KIMBERLY, WI (WTAQ) - A company which had been looking into purchasing the empty Kimberly paper mill is no longer interested in the site. 

That, according to a local economic development consortium. 

New North says Forest Resources had been in discussions about the plant, but then backed away.   

New North continues re-use planning for the mill site, including pursuing re-use opportunities for markets other than paper. A metal scrap dealer currently owns the property.
