DETROIT, MI (WKZO) -- In case you hadn't heard, the Detroit Lions aren't supposed to be 5-0. The Lions are generally the worst team in the NFL. That has changed. The Lions used big plays and an excellent defensive line to defeat the Chicago Bears 24-13 Monday night. The win improves the Lions to 5-0 on the season and brings them back into a tie with the only other undefeated team in the NFL; the Green Bay Packers.
On this night it was Jahvid Best with 12 rushes for 163 yards including an 88-yard-touchdown, Calvin Johnson with 5 catches for 130 yards and a 73-yard-touchdown catch in the 1st half. This Lions team knows how to win.
Up next the 5-0 Lions welcome the 49ers into Ford Field this coming Sunday as the Lions look to improve to 6-0 against the 4-1 Niners. The Lions 5-0 start is their first since 1956.
