OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) - Oshkosh Corporation and union workers continue talks Thursday.
It's the second time this week both sides have met, since the UAW Local 578 rejected the company's 5-year contract offer last Friday.
The two sides are still trying to work out a new contract. The union president says both sides had a few differences to negotiate. Both the company and the union say they hope to resolve the issue without a strike.
Both sides expect a long day at the negotiating table.
The union president says a little progress was made during talks Tuesday, but it's slow-going so far today.
Company officials did not know exactly how long talks would take.
