When the Lions take on the Bears Sunday at Solider Field, it will be just the third time out of 8 games this season that they’ll be playing outdoors.
Detroit coach Jim Schwartz said Wednesday, it’s no big deal since the Lions have won this year in the elements at Tampa Bay and Denver. But Bear’s quarterback Jay Cutler suggested yesterday that Detroit is an indoor team and that gives Chicago the advantage.
After practice on Wednesday, Schwartz said, the field questions aside, the Lions will need to get after Cutler, something that hasn’t happened as much during Chicago’s 3-game winning streak
The Lions are coming off their bye week with a 6-and-2 record, including their 24-to-13 win over the Bears a month ago at Ford Field. Chicago is 5-and-3 after their Monday night win at Philadelphia.
