GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - An eastside apartment fire was contained to just one unit of a two-level complex early Sunday morning. 

The Green Bay Fire Department were called at 12:47 A.M. Sunday about smoke and flames.  Crews extinguished the fire that was contained to just the kitchen of the apartment in the2236 Imperial Lane. 

The fire department says the fire was from some unattended cooking. 

One person was displaced, but the landlord is helping out. 


The fire caused an estimated $10,000 worth of damage.
