The Atlanta Braves took both ends of a doubleheder Wednesday at Turner Field by scores of 8-3 and 8-0. In the opener, Nate McLouth broke open the game with a two run homer off losing pitcher Marco Estrada. He gave up 8 hits and 6 earned runs in 5 and third innings. Prince Fielder hit his 7th homer of the season but Ryan Braun went 0-4, ending his streak of reaching base in 28 consecutive games. Tommy Hanson got the victory. In the nightcap, Tim Hudson pitched a complete game, one hitter, allowing only a leadoff double to Rickie Weeks in the 4th inning. Hudson faced only two batters above the minimum. Zack Greinke made his long awaited Brewers debut but he labored through 4 innings, giving up five runs, four of them earned and striking out 6 lasting 86 pitches. Milwaukee (13-17) has dropped five straight and will send Shaun Marcum to the mound in the series finale in Atlanta Thursday night.
