HUDSON, WI (WTAQ) - A St. Croix County jury finds former UW-Stout hockey player Jared Britton not guilty of causing the death of a fellow student.
Jared Britton had been accused of pushing the victim as he was riding a bicycle in Menomonie last fall, causing him to crash into a concrete wall.
23 year old Bradley Simon died from his injuries.
Britton's teammate, Jedediah McGlasson, goes on trial next month.
The two were accused of causing Simon's death after they had argued over a sweatshirt Britton was wearing.
The jury's decision was handed down last Friday in Hudson.
