MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - Joe Block has been introduced at the new play-by-play announcer for the Milwaukee Brewers. He will call games with Bob Uecker in the 2012 season. Block has been co-host of Dodger Talk, a baseball show on KABC radio in Los Angeles. He takes the place of Cory Provus, who left Milwaukee to call play-by-play for the Minnesota Twins. Block has called more than 900 professional baseball games, including the final two seasons for the Expos in Montreal. He was post-game host for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.
