MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - Milwaukee police plan to patrol county buses to help keep order. Several instances of violence have been reported on buses in the last week. Chief Edward Flynn said yesterday officers will ride bus routes to keep crime under control. Police have not consulted with Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Junior, but no objection was raised by the sheriff’s office. Some deputies have been assigned to bus patrols by the sheriff, but most service calls about bus problems have been handled this year by the private security firm, G4S Wackenhut.
