GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) -  Green Bay fire officials have ruled the blaze at a long-time downtown restaurant was accidental.

Al's Hamburger Shop went up in flames Saturday event at 131 South Washington Street.

The Green Bay Fire Marshal's Office has concluded the fire started in the griddle or grill area, near the front of the restaurant.

Fire officials estimated the damage at $50,000. Restaurant owners say the future of the business is uncertain.
