Michigan State comes in at number-14 in Sports Illustrated’s Top-25 pre-season rankings. Other Big Ten teams in the poll includeNebraskaat number-9, Wisconsin-12th, and Ohio State-19th.
Alabama sits at number one with Oklahoma, L-S-U, Stanford and Oregon rounding out the top five. Michigan State opens its season Friday night, September 2nd against Youngstown State at Spartan Stadium.
