Fond du Lac, Wis. (WHBL-Learfield) - Republican state Senator Randy Hopper will go up against a familiar opponent in his expected recall election.  Oshkosh Deputy Mayor Jessica King has announced she will run in a recall race against the Fond du Lac Senator. She faced Hopper in a close 2008 campaign that resulted in a recount. The Democrat says the two candidates are about as opposite as two people can be.  King believes she can properly represent the people of the 18th Senate District.  The state's Government Accountability Board is still verifying the signatures collected for the Hopper recall petition. An election is still expected though, after organizers turned in over 24-thousand signatures...nearly eight-thousand more than what was needed to trigger a recall.  (Photo courtesy of KFIZ)
