WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican leaders in the House of Representatives wrote a memo to members on late Friday saying there is no budget deal yet.

"We would like to clear up some confusion and relay that there has not yet been a deal reached. The negotiations are ongoing," the leaders wrote. The memo was read to reporters by Republican aide amid reports a deal may be close.
