KOHLER, Wis. (WTAQ) - A strike may be on the horizon for one of Wisconsin's largest employers.
Union leaders for workers at Kohler Company say members have overwhelmingly voted in support for authorizing a strike.
This comes in response to contract negotiations. While there's hope it won't happen...the contract expires on Friday.
Both sides continue to work to try and reach an agreement.
Kohler Company employs about 2,300 members of the union with the contract dispute and recently came in at number 2 on a list of Wisconsin's top-earning privately-controlled companies.
Union leaders reiterated that just because they have the authority to call a strike doesn't mean they will. They expected to speak to members Saturday.
