Hope's seven-year-long non-conference victory drought continued Saturday as former MIAA member Wisconsin Lutheran posted a 17-14 victory in Milwaukee. Trailing 10-0 through three quarters, the Flying Dutchmen scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to take a 14-10 lead with 6:04 left to play. The host Warriors came back with a 49-yard touchdown run with 2:41 remaining. Hope had one final drive and a chance to send the game into overtime, but Andy Schofield's 32-yard field goal attempt was blocked with 13 seconds remaining. Hope's touchdowns were scored by quarterback Chris Feys on a one-yard run and Tim Elzinga on a two-yard scamper.
