WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WTAQ) - When you gotta go, you gotta go. But it got a 71-year-old Waukesha man in more trouble than he bargained for.
Police in Wauwatosa stopped his car early last Saturday for having expired license plates, and he told the officer he had to urinate. He was told to wait, but he relieved himself on a tree.
Police said he then refused to take a breath test, so they took him to a hospital to check his blood. On the way, officials said he tried to hit one officer in the face – and he used his legs to put a headlock on another officer.
Then at the hospital, the man complained of leg and arm pain, and he began talking about killing himself. So he went to the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex.
He was arrested for his 4th drunk driving offense, disorderly conduct, and driving after his license was revoked. Prosecutors will decide what charges to file before the week is over.
