GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - A west side Green Bay fire sends 6 people to the hospital. It happened just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1488 Servais Drive.
A 49-year-old man and 29-year-old woman had to be rescued through a window. The man is in critical condition. A 19-year-old man had to be rescued from basement stairs. A 16-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy were found outside when fire crews arrived. Also injured was a Green Bay police officer responding to aid in the rescue..
The 16 and 8-year-old told police officers the locations of the people inside, which helped quicken the pace of the rescue. Fire crews say the blaze was contained to the living room and the house had no working smoke alarms.
