SAN DIEGO, Calif. (WTAQ) - More bad news when it comes to baby slings. It was just earlier this month that federal regulators began warning sling users about the possibility of infant suffocation. Now, the Consumer Product Safety Commission has decided 2 types of slings made by San Diego-based Infantino are in fact so dangerous that they must be pulled immediately from the market. The recall is for 1 million Sling Rider and Wendy Bellissimo baby slings. If you have one of these slings, you are urged to stop using it. The CPSC is also reminding parents that no sling is recommended for use with children less than 4-months-old.
