(Undated)  --  Texas has canceled its home-and-home football series with the University of Minnesota, which was scheduled to take place in 2015 and 2016.  U-of-M athletic director Joel Maturi says an impasse over video rights to the games led to Texas pulling out of the deal.  The Gophers are searching for a team from a major conference to fill the dates.  The 2010 Gophers begin preseason practice next week and open their fourth season under coach Tim Brewster on September 2nd with a road game at Middle Tennessee State.  Their home opener is September 11th against South Dakota, the first of four straight games at TCF Bank Stadium.
