(Kansas City, MO) -- The Twins and Royals close out their three-game series at Kauffman Stadium this afternoon, with Brian Duensing on the mound against Kansas City's Brian Bannister. This is Duensing's second start since replacing Nick Blackburn in the Twins' rotation. He pitched five solid innings in his first start last Friday at Baltimore and didn't figure in the decision. Duensing is three-and-one with a one-point-six-zero earned run average. Bannister comes into the game with a seven-and-nine mark. One of his wins was a 4-3 decision over the Twins at Target Field in April. The Twins are one game behind Chicago in the AL Central, with the White Sox hosting Seattle tonight.
