Wausau, Wis.--101.9 WDEZ's Vanessa Ryan, morning host of The Workday Getaway, got a little local exposure this morning. She was featured on WAOW Channel 9's Wake Up Wisconsin morning show after becoming one of 100 semi-finalists in the LIVE with Regis and Kelly Co-Host for a Day Search for Women in Radio. 

The semi-finalist list was released earlier this week and happened to be the first Vanessa had heard of the contest. Ten semi-finalists will be chosen among all entries and announced on-air on August 9th. Viewers will then be given the opportunity to vote on-line for 4 nominees who will co-host with Regis Philbin.
