SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Authorities in Shawano County continue to look for a man who robbed a bank Wednesday morning.
Sheriff’s deputies said the man displayed a silver handgun at the Pineries Bank in Mattoon, and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.
Investigators said they’re interested in a green or black SUV that was spotted in the area at the time of the holdup.
The robber was described as being in his mid 20s to late 30’s with a stocky build and dirty blonde hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a maroon hooded sweatshirt and a scarf over the lower half of his face.
