Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - During Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole meeting in Sheboygan, the City’s Fire Chief addressed future hiring’s.

Chief Jeff Hermann took time during the Committee meeting to address the concept of hiring as many as 12 new firefighters in the city of Sheboygan. The Chief called the notion outlandish.

The Fire Department does have open positions due to retirements, but it remains to be seen if those remain unfilled or if current department members are promoted from within.
