DE PERE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A duplex fire in De Pere Sunday night displaces 4 people. It happened at 1610 Suburban Drive just after 11:30 p.m. The homeowner says he went outside to smoke and saw flames in the garage. He, his girlfriend and 2 kids got out safely.

The attic and garage sustained significant damage. Fire officials are also looking into possible damage to the other side of the duplex. The family living there were allowed to stay in the home. No word on the cause of the blaze.
