MANITOWOC, Wis. (WTAQ) - A strike is going on in Manitowoc as 38 union workers are picketing outside Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry. Local 301 member Scott Hershfield says a "Successor Clause" is something worth fighting for. The clause protects union workers wages, benefits and jobs in the event the company is sold. Foundry owner Milton Schwartz wouldn't say what's being done in negotiations, but feels a solution can be worked out. More is expected to be known in the next few days.
