The Pistons never had the lead last night and trailed by 28 heading into the fourth quarter on their way to being crushed by the L-A Clippers at the Palace 109-to-88. Blake Griffin showed Piston’s fans why the whole league wants to watch the Clippers as he posted 24 points and 17 rebounds for his 14th consecutive double-double.
The performance included a 360 layup and an array of slam jams, helping his team snap a 15-game road losing streak dating back to last season. Detroit, meanwhile, has lost 9 of 11, and disappointed coach John Kuester after coming off a 25-point win over Atlanta. Charlie Villanueva recorded 18 points and nine boards for the Pistons who play tonight at Chicago.
