KALAMAZOO -- A 45-year-old is drying out in the Kalamazoo County Jail after he got drunk before he broke into a gas station in Texas Corners yesterday morning.  A car leaving the scene matched the description of the vehicle used in three other similar burglaries.  When they Portage Police spotted it at Portage and Milham, they pulled it over.

The driver flunked a sobriety check, and his car contained stolen items. He has confessed to four recent burglaries at service stations around the county.
