MENOMINEE, Mich. (WTAQ) - A 31-year-old Antigo man could spend the rest of his life in prison, after he was convicted in the drug-related slaying of a man in Upper Michigan.
A jury in Menominee Michigan deliberated 5 hours before finding Guy Buck guilty of felony homicide and unarmed robbery. Prosecutors said Buck and 2 other men beat 49-year-old Mark Keller to death near Menominee in 2008.
Prosecutors said they wanted to rob him of drugs, money, and guns. 47-year-old James Dulak of Weston was sentenced in January to life in prison with no chance for supervised release. A third man, 25-year-old Keith Benson of Hatley, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of second degree murder in exchange for his testimony against Dulak and Buck. Benson is now in jail, awaiting a sentence.
