Pittsburgh, Pa (WSAU) Dave Bush pitched seven innings of three-hit, shut-out ball as the Brewers beat the Pirates 8-1 in the first of three at PNC Park. Bush struck out 2 and walked 4 for his first win of the year. Ryan Braun, Casey McGehee, Corey hart and Rickie Weeks each drove in two runs for Milwaukee, which scored three times in each of the first two innings to grab a 6-0 lead. Hart hit his second homer of the year, a solo shot in the fifth. The Brewers improved to 6-7 on the season and will face the Pirates again tonight with Yovanni Gallardo on the mound.
