Neenah PD: Woman Found Linked to Suspicious Fire Home

NEENAH, Wis. (WTAQ) - We're learning a little more Tuesday about the suspicious death of a woman found in a Neenah apartment complex. The victim, found at 1024 Hunt Avenue Monday, has been identified as 45-year-old Elizabeth Hendricks. Hendrick's residence is listed as 3511 County Trunk "II" in the Town of Clayton, the same place where a suspicious fire was reported over the weekend.

Neenah Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson says Hendricks had been a guest in the past to the Hunt Avenue apartment complex. He also is working on confirming a media report which indicated some residents hearing the woman cry that she had killed someone. Wilkinson says the public isn't in danger.

Hendrick's vehicle, a dark blue Jeep Grand Cherokee was found parked near the building. That vehicle is now in the custody of the Neenah Police Department. Her body was transported to Fond du Lac for autopsy. Authorities hope to know initial results from the autopsy later this week.
