EAU CLAIRE (WRN) - Classes resume Monday at Eau Claire Regis High School. A weekend fire did an estimated $25,000 damage to the school's chapel. School officials say it will take a lot of effort to restore what was lost, calling the chapel and important part of the Catholic shool with strong and historical significance for everyone. The fire damaged the altar, chairs, walls and the ceiling. Fire investigators think it probably started Saturday night or Sunday morning -- and had burned itself out by the time they were called at a little after 8:30 a.m. An official cause for the fire has not been released.
