TOWN OF MENASHA, Wis. (WTAQ) - Winnebago County authorities have released the recording of an errant 911 call that led to a drug bust in the Town of Menasha last month. A man from Appleton and a woman from the Town of Menasha were busted on November 21st after his cell phone dialed 911, without him knowing it, while it was in his pocket. Without knowing what was happening, dispatchers used GPS to track the call to near Valley and Appleton Roads and sent officers to investigate. That's when they heard drug activity. Officers soon arrived and found some marijuana and a pipe. The two are facing drug citations.
