Air Force Cracks Down on Christians

by Jerry Bader

This is actually from earlier this month. I missed it back then and a listener sent it to me over the weekend. What's important to note here is that these service people are facing repercussions not for acting out against gays in any way, but simply holding a belief.

And this is where the comparison between the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's and the Gay Rights Movement falls flat. Blacks were discriminated against, deprived of opportunities, because of their skin color. You can believe homosexuality is a sin without discriminating against or mistreating gays. If Monk told Starnes something that is false, that's another matter. But regardless, the allegation that opposition to gay marriage at Lackland is one that needs to be addressed.
