And it's interesting to see the reaction from the Journal Sentinel and other liberals. The left says this is just about making participants jump through hoops. "Just" jump through hoops, no. And whether it leads to them getting a job t or not, is this really asking so much? Also interesting how they talk about the cost of the program and the loss of federal dollars. With fewer people on the program, shouldn't the fed be paying less here?
It's amazing how the left howls about these minimal, and I mean minimal requirements to continue receiving aid. It's clear they don't see reducing food stamp rolls by half as a good thing. And it's interesting how the estimate is that these meager requirements will keep half the people currently getting food stamps to bail. What does that tell you?
