This piece chronicles how "human rights" or other similar commissions around the country have attempted to stifle free speech, usually conservative free speech. It's stunning to me that two council members have already jumped to this guy's defense. He's apologized? How did that go? I'm sorry your a vile bigot? How do you take all that back? What surprises me is that, so far at least, these types of commissions haven't gone after local conservative talk radio hosts. Perhaps they realize targeting hosts mean those hosts can marshal the forces of their audiences to respond to such an attack. So instead, they go after people like the pastor in this story.
But these commissions have been on an offensive. If you're not aware of it, you should be.
