Doctor Who celebrates 50th Anniversary

The long-running British series, "Doctor Who" marks its 50th Anniversary this month.  Filming first began on September 19, 1963.  William Hartnell was the first actor to portray the Doctor.

The show's 50th Anniversary Special, "The Day of the Doctor", will air November 23rd on BBC America.  Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt all star as the Doctor. Rumors are flying that other previous Doctors may also make appearances in the special.

The BBC has been treating fans to glimpses of "The Day of the Doctor" with several trailers.  Fans are also busy producing some of their own original Doctor Who material, including a short musical.  You'll find all these cool Doctor Who treats below!  They're tastier than jelly babies!
