The struggling Minnesota Vikings made it official today, benching veteran Donovan McNabb in favor of their number one draft choice, Christian Ponder from Florida State who will make his first career start against the Super Bowl champion Packers on Sunday at the Metrodome.  I had a chance to visit with both Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier and Pro Bowl defensive end Jared Allen about the not only this change, but a wild and crazy quarterback derby in the Twin Cities that included former Packer Brett Favre.
