The NFL is looking into the post-game incident involving Packers safety Nick Collins at Solider Field.   After the game, fans alledgedly taunted Collins with racially derogatory language and according to Collins, spit on him.   Collins reportedly shouted back at the fans and threw his moutguard at them.  The incident was captured on tape by a Milwaukee TV station.   Head coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday evening he hadn't seen the tape but did discuss the incident with Collins and is standing by him "100 percent."

The Detroit Lions are next for the Packers and head coach Jim Schwartz told me this morning that Matthew Stafford is still not ready to return at quarterback.  Stafford injured his throwing shoulder on opening day against the Bears and Schwartz said they want to be very careful to make sure he's completely healed before getting him back on the field.   Running back Javid Best may also sit this week's game out with a turf toe injury.  Despite an 0-3 record, Schwartz remains upbeat about his team which made several aggressive moves this off-season to bolster the roster.  Drafting Ndomokung Suh of Nebraska in the first round, trading for ex-Packer Corey Williams and signing free agents Kyle Vandenbosch and Nate Burleson.
