Roster moves and a 38 special

The Packers did some roster juggling to start the practice week after Brandon Chillar and Spencer Havner had their season end Tuesday by being placed on injured reserve.  Moving off the practice squad and on to the active roster were linebacker Robert Francois, for the second time, he was active for four games earlier, and defensive back Josh Gordy, a rookie out of Central Michigan who's been on the practice squad for the past 10 weeks after getting cut by Jacksonville following the pre-season.  Green Bay added two players to their practice squad.  Wide receiver Terrance Smith, a rookie from South Carolina State who was waiting to start playing with the Jacksonville Sharks of the Arena Football League.  He's 6-0, 195 pounds who caught 40 passes for 542 yards and four touchdowns during his senior season.  Curtis Young, a linebacker and possibly a defensive end was also added.  He's a 6-1, 270 rookie from Cincinnati who played in one game for the United Football League's Sacramento Mountain Lions this summer.

The biggest story of the day belonged to Tramon Williams who put his name on the dotted line to a 4 year, 33 million dollar contract extension.  Williams was also smiles in the locker room after practice as you can hear with the link below.
