MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) – The drowning death of a seven-year-old boy at a Milwaukee hotel has been ruled an accident.
The county medical examiner’s office said Noah Beckley was at a birthday party on Saturday at a Comfort Inn and Suites, when he drowned in the deep end of a swimming pool.
A dozen other kids were at the party, along with 10 adults.
Milwaukee Police reviewed surveillance video. It showed that Noah walked to the 5-foot deep end of a pool by himself, and jumped in.
Officials said he was underwater for about 5 minutes before somebody saw him and pulled him out. He did not know how to swim.
