There is something that is usually overstated and that is the battles that athletes go through on the court, field or what ever surface you play your sport on. To me that is an insult to those who actually fight battles in war. There are many guys and gals who have served our country and found disabled sports. And as a disabled athlete there is no better way to show your support to those who have been injured in war than what the guys who play for Team USA wheelchair basketball did. On their way to preparing for the Paralympics they visited those wounded in the war recovering in Germany. Here is a link to the video of a great story of how a few athletes tried to brighten others lives. I sure hope you can appreciate what they did because I sure do. A tip of the cap to you guys for taking time to do what you did.
